Terms of Use
GivenBy is a record-keeping tool. It does not give veterinary advice. Always follow your veterinarian’s instructions for doses, late doses, and missed doses. In an emergency, contact your vet or an emergency animal clinic.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Galuh Pradipta (“we”, “us”) for the GivenBy app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. What the Service does
GivenBy helps you and your household record pet medicines, doses, meals, and health readings, get reminders, and share one log between phones. Warnings and reminders depend on your phone, its notification settings, and network connections. They can be late or fail. You remain responsible for your pet’s care.
3. Households
The person who creates a household can invite others with a code. Everyone in a household can see and add records for its pets. Only invite people you trust. You can leave a household or delete your data at any time in the app.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and payment
- Some features need a paid plan: monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Apple charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings.
- A free trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The app sends you a reminder 2 days before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- One active plan covers every member of the household that bought it.
- If a plan ends, dose reminders, logging on your own phone, your history, and data export keep working. Household sync, Insights, and vet reports pause until the household has an active plan again.
5. Your content
You own the records, photos, and notes you add. You give us permission to store, sync, and process them only to provide the Service to you and your household.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service. For example, do not try to access other households’ data, disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful.
7. Changes and availability
We may change or improve the Service. We will try to give notice before we remove a paid feature. We do not promise that the Service will always be available or free of errors.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in the Service is veterinary or medical advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for harm that results from a missed, late, or extra dose. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, except where the law of your country of residence gives you protections that cannot be waived.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new terms apply.
